Happy New Year 2026!!!
The end of 2025 causes us to reflect on how quickly the days slip from our grasp and how each moment is important. Thank you “sew” much for your support and encouragement through the past year. We cherish the connections with you and love to be a part in the special projects you create.
As a New Year stretches out before us, we all have resolutions/promises/goals to finish projects already started. The response for “2nd Saturday Sew Day” has been really positive with over 30 finishes logged by 2025 participants. So lets keep the momentum going. No charge, no reservations (unless it gets too cozy), come sew anytime 9-3pm. One of our team will be available for assistance. We’re issuing a challenge to finish 12 projects in 2026, details at the shop. Let’s get those projects checked off your list and make it fun as well!!!
Hand Work Sew Along
Save the dates on your calendar for Hand Work Sew Along at the shop. The First Wednesday of every month, 9am-5pm, has been reserved for open sewing, by hand. Bring your EPP (English Paper Piecing), applique, hand binding, hand quilting, etc. to stitch in the company of friends. Feel free to bring your lunch and stay for the day or come and go as your schedule allows.
Scrap Bag Challenge 2026
The packages are all ready for the annual Field to Fabric Quilt Co. Scrap Bag Challenge!!! The challenge is to tap into your creative energy, make a project with the contents, and enter it for a chance to win the Grand Prize of a $50 gift certificate and the coveted prize ribbon. Purchase your special bag for $10, submit the finished project by March 18, and receive a $10 gift certificate. Nothing to lose!!! Instructions are included; essentially you may add one fabric, and imagination, to see what you create, no size limits. Votes by shoppers during the Border Run Shop Hop Event will determine the winner.
These wonderful totes are affectionately called “Magic” because they have special powers. They are the perfect size to hold a project tote, or 2, or other supplies. They are also an eco-friendly choice for all your shopping. When you bring it in for Field to Fabric Quilt Co. purchases we include a free fat quarter. January starts the year with a 5th Saturday. IYKYK. There will be a new “Magic Tag” for 2026 ($5) and the combination with the tote gets you 20% off your purchases for the day. The tag is valid for all the 5th Saturdays in 2026.
Shop Winfield for Holiday Gifts this Year
Shop at participating Winfield businesses now thru December 22nd and every $25 you spend earns you an entry for the weekly drawings of $100 in Holiday Checks!! The Grand Prize drawing on Dec. 23rd will be for great swag from all the participating shops. We always appreciate when you shop local for holiday gifts!
Bonnie Hunter Sew Along
Scrap Queen, Bonnie Hunter, has released the introduction for her 2025 mystery quilt. That means it’s time to join the Sew Along at the Shop. Debbie will sew with the group on Friday afternoons from 1-5 pm beginning November 21st. It’s fun to gather with friends and sew along as we enjoy the mystery. Fee is $15 for the year. That includes a ruler discount, the use of the shop AccuQuilt system, and many other perks. Spots are limited so call now to reserve your spot.
