(at the other 7 shops). Be sure to get your passport stamped at each shop. We encourage you to collect the block kits at each shop (includes their special bison print and fabric for the pieced block), pick your favorite quilt and get a finishing kit as well. Oh yeah, turning in your passport at the last shop enters you in the drawing for fabulous prizes!!! Call your friends to hop with you because it’s always more fun traveling with quilting buddies.

It’s National Quilting Day on March 21st and we are celebrating for a whole week!!! (Open on Tuesday this year).
March 20-28th will be our annual Border Run shop hop event.
The theme is “Flight Pattern.” Our quilts are all made with “Birds in the Air” blocks. And, of course, we have all added a unique border to the central quilt blocks as well as offering a different accent color. Pictured is our quilt called “Time to Fly” and when you get close enough to see the quilting design it’s paper airplanes. Sew Fun!!!
Participating shops are Beehive Quilt Shop in Wellington, Field to Fabric Quilt Co., TART Fabrics in Burden, and Completely Quilted in Ponca City OK. Quilt photos are posted on the Border Run Facebook page and on our shop pages. Make plans to “hop” with friends. Pick up your FREE passport at the first stop, get it stamped at each shop. You will collect free pattern pages at each stop. A featured notion item and fat quarter packs of our selected black/white fabrics will be available for purchase at a very special price. Check out the unique personality of each shop.
On display in our classroom will be the entries for the Annual Scrap Bag Challenge. Come be inspired and vote for your favorite.
We are bummed that the Chiefs aren’t playing in the Super Bowl but the Annual Super Bolt SALE is still on. Saturday, Feb. 7th all fabric on bolts will be 20% off. If you take all the yards on the bolt we take 30% off. SCORE!!!
Clearance fabric is included as well, the bargain room is bursting at the seams. Come early for best selection. Regular shop hours Saturday 9am-3pm. And, remember to bring your “Magic Tote” for a free fat quarter with your purchase.
Our resident hopper frog is jumping up and down waiting for the NEW 2026 All KS/NE Quilt Shop Hop magazines to arrive. They are expected any day now. Remember the event is on for all of April and May. The magazines have all the details: shops listed by region, special shop hours, the passport, great patterns, and many more goodies related to the event.

Happy New Year 2026
Happy New Year 2026!!!
The end of 2025 causes us to reflect on how quickly the days slip from our grasp and how each moment is important. Thank you “sew” much for your support and encouragement through the past year. We cherish the connections with you and love to be a part in the special projects you create.
As a New Year stretches out before us, we all have resolutions/promises/goals to finish projects already started. The response for “2nd Saturday Sew Day” has been really positive with over 30 finishes logged by 2025 participants. So lets keep the momentum going. No charge, no reservations (unless it gets too cozy), come sew anytime 9-3pm. One of our team will be available for assistance. We’re issuing a challenge to finish 12 projects in 2026, details at the shop. Let’s get those projects checked off your list and make it fun as well!!!
Hand Work Sew Along
Save the dates on your calendar for Hand Work Sew Along at the shop. The First Wednesday of every month, 9am-5pm, has been reserved for open sewing, by hand. Bring your EPP (English Paper Piecing), applique, hand binding, hand quilting, etc. to stitch in the company of friends. Feel free to bring your lunch and stay for the day or come and go as your schedule allows.
