Thank you “sew” much for your support and encouragement through the past year. As a New Year stretches out before us we all have new opportunities on the horizon. Please know that our friendly staff is always ready to assist with your projects from pattern and fabric selections to machine quilting, binding, and everything in between. We love it when you choose to shop locally!!!
Scrap Bag Challenge 2023
Happy New Year 2023!!! Time to exercise your creative muscles with our annual Scrap Bag Challenge. The fabrics are obviously hidden in the paper bag. Your challenge is to make a project with the contents and enter it for a chance at the Grand Prize of a $50 gift certificate and the coveted prize ribbon. Purchase your special bag for $10 and when your finished project is submitted you receive a $10 gift certificate. Nothing to lose!!! Instructions are included, but basically you may add one fabric, and imagination, to see what you can create, no size limits. Votes by shoppers during the Border Run Shop Hop Event March 17-25th will determine the winner.

Congratulations to shop assistant manager, Janell Williams, who won Best of Show with her fabulous scrappy “Tulip Time” quilt. Congratulations to all the other winners and participants in both Open Class and 4-H in the Textiles Departments. So many people enjoy the display at our Cowley County Fair and this year was no exception. Can we all resolve to submit more entries and make next year even better???
Winfield Annual Sidewalk Sale, August 13th.
I’m not sure about you… but I would rather have fabric than a sidewalk, so… come INSIDE on August 13th for great deals. Clearance fabrics will be $4.99/yd, or $3.99 if you empty the bolt. Sale fat quarters will be $1 each, 1 yard rolls can be yours for $4.99, clearance panels $1 each, and whatever else we add at bargain prices. Opening at 8am, so come early for the best selection!
