Scrap Bag Challenge 2024
We have all been anticipating the Field to Fabric Quilt Co. annual Scrap Bag Challenge. The fabrics are under cover in a paper bag. Your challenge is to make a project with the contents and enter it for a chance at the Grand Prize of a $50 gift certificate and the coveted prize ribbon. Purchase your special bag for $10 and when your finished project is submitted you receive a $10 gift certificate. Nothing to lose!!! Instructions are included; essentially you may add one fabric, and imagination, to see what you create, no size limits. Votes by shoppers during the Border Run Shop Hop Event will determine the winner.
So why the Elk Falls Outhouse Festival in this email??? That’s because they have a Quilt Show and a quilt show needs Quilts. Will you share your talent and quilts??? Please bring entries by Field to Fabric Quilt Co. by November 13th and we will arrange to get them to the show. Make plans to attend this fun and unique event in Elk Falls KS.
Bonnie Hunter Sew Along
Scrap Queen, Bonnie Hunter, has released the introduction for her 2023 mystery quilt. That means there is still time to join for Sew Along at the Shop. Debbie Walker will facilitate the group meeting on Friday afternoons from 1-5pm beginning November 24th. It’s fun to gather with friends and sew along as we enjoy the mystery. Fee is $15 and includes a discount, the use of the shop AccuQuilt system, and many other perks. Spots are limited so call now to reserve your spot.

The shop team has been busy sewing, quilting and binding new samples for your inspiration. These cake boxes hold all the no calorie goodness inside for the quilt you see peeking through the window. We are excited to be one of the exclusive shops for the Sumner-Cowley Boutique Crawl happening the entire month of July. (Our Shop Hours are still M, W, F 9-5, Th 9-7, and Sat 9-3, closed on Tues). Collect as many stamps as you can thru the month, and be sure to turn in the passport at your local chamber for a chance to win fabulous prizes provided by all the shops.
