The annual Central KS Quilt Shop Hop begins October 6 and continues through October 15, 2022.  Mark your calendar, call your friends and make plans to join us for this great annual event. 10 days will be plenty of time to visit all the shops and get your passport stamped for great prizes. The long awaited exclusive vintage Christmas fabric is available for a special promotional prepaid/pre-order price of $12.99 June 1 thru August 31st.  (Sept 1 the price will be $13.99).  Photos don’t do justice, you want to see it in person.  T-shirts will be available soon.  Call your friends and make plans for a road trip.

Field to Fabric Quilt Co. is partnering with the Cowley County Humane Society during the month of June for “Donations Campaign for our Rescues.”  We are asking you to help support their services in our community by bringing cash or supply donations to the shop to fill up our carts.  Items needed include towels, canned dog or cat food, kitten formula (KMR), Dawn dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, paper rolls from towels or TP, creamy peanut butter, collars, cleaning sponges, sheets, blankets, garbage bags, etc, etc, etc.  Any cash, or items donated, valued at $10 or more will get you a 10% discount on your shop purchase.  Win, Win!!!

We had such a great time meeting all the “hoppers” participating in the first ever Great Sewing Adventure Across Kansas & Nebraska.  Everyone had great stories to share as we met folks from all over the Midwest, and even California and Australia. Be sure to tune in on the All Kansas & Nebraska Shop Hop Facebook page for the prize drawing on June 28th, 6pm, to see who wins all the great prizes.  Collectable fabric squares are still available so just ask if you would like one (free). And mark your calendars for next year as we are ready to do this again!

It’s National Quilting Day on March 19th and we are going to celebrate for a whole week!!!  We will be open Tuesday as well.

March 18-26th will be the 5th annual Border Run shop hop event.  Participating shops are McDonald’s Sewing/Vacuum in Arkansas City, BeeHive Quilt shop in Wellington, Field to Fabric Quilt Co. and we have added a new shop-TART Fabrics in Burden.   Quilt photos are posted on the Border Run Facebook page and on our shop pages.  We have chosen a beautiful palette of spring colors and with a different center for the blocks.  And, of course, each shop added a unique border to the same central quilt.  Make plans to “hop” with friends.  Pick up a FREE passport at your first stop, get it stamped at each shop and receive the quilt pattern at the 4th shop.  Fat quarter packs of our chosen fabrics will be available for purchase.  Check out the demos and unique personality of each shop.  We’ll be showing you how to make this fabulous braid border on our quilt.  On display in our classroom will be the entries for the Annual Scrap Bag Challenge.  Come be inspired and vote for your favorite.

Since the NFL didn’t consult us before changing the Big Super Bowl game we are holding the Annual Super Bolt SALE as originally planned on February 5th.  This is only sale all year when you get 20% off all regular priced fabric on the bolt,  and 30% off if take all the yards on the bolt.  SCORE!!!  Come early for best selection. Regular shop hours for Saturday 9am-3pm.
