Quilters Trek is the former Row by Row Experience with a new twist. You may still request the free pattern at each participating shop you visit. Each state has collectable 2 1/2″ fabric tokens that are unique to their area and will be included in each block kit. The theme this year is “True Blue” so shops have designed four 9″ blocks with that in mind. We combined our blocks in a square for a Barn Quilt look. The kit sells for $9.99 beginning June 22 when the Trek starts. To win a bundle of fat quarters a participant submits a finished quilt (quilted, bound and labeled) including at least 32 blocks from 8 shops. Two prizes are offered so you don’t even have to be the first. Check out the new Facebook pages for the event. Kansas is included in the “Quilters Trek Bow Tie Travelers.”
